Did You Know?

In the 17th century, Sevilla was once home to a flourishing school of painters including renowned artists such as Diego Velasquez, Bartolome Murillo and Francisco Pacheo.

Sevilla's cathedral, the third largest in all of Europe, holds the tomb of Christopher Columbus.

Every Spring Sevilla comes to a standstill and throws a week-long party called Fería. During Fería tents are set up virtually making a tent-city every year. Everyone socializes and dances to flamenco music until the sun comes up only to return later that night for more.
High School Overview
At LEAPAbroad we are committed to ensuring that each student has a memorable experience abroad, both academically and culturally. Students come away from our programs with a deeper cultural awareness and personal independence that is unique to living and studying in a foreign country. Our program emphasizes language acquisition and cultural immersion for students at all levels of proficiency.

LEAPAbroad offers two options for High School Abroad groups: the first option is to send a group of students to study abroad in Sevilla, Spain for a set period of time, from 2 weeks to an entire summer. The second option is to bring a group of students to Europe and to travel.

Study Abroad
Is international academic experience a part of what your students are looking for when they go abroad? If so, this is the program for them. Courses can be specially created to cater to a high school group that wants to study and integrate. Courses are taken at a fully-accredited university in Sevilla and can be the first credits used for future university studies. This program is a great way not only for students to immerse themselves into a new and unique culture, but also to work on Spanish language skills. Students are placed in Homestays during their time abroad, and have the chance to see Spanish culture in a family setting. This program also has the option of including culturally enriching adventures into Portugal and Morocco.

Travel Abroad
If you are traveling abroad to see new and exciting places, we can set your group up with a personalized program. We will work closely with your study abroad department to create a specialized itinerary suited to your interests while traveling abroad. There are no cookie-cutter programs here! Excursions are a great way to see many exciting and different cultures in a brief period of time.
